EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say contractors plan to resume a cable maintenance project on the U.S. 231 William H. Natcher Bridge at the Ohio River crossing.
According to a press release, the project began in spring of 2025 but was halted during the winter due to concerns for workers’ safety.
When the project resumes, the northbound side of the bridge will be blocked, with both north and southbound traffic utilizing the southbound lanes from the 13.5 to 14.8-mile points…
