Steven “Stevie” Michael Cox, age 67, was welcomed into his heavenly home, surrounded by his loving family, on the beautiful morning of April 2, 2026, at St. Vincent’s Ascension Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Stevie was a lifelong resident of Washington, Indiana, and a proud graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1977. He dedicated many years of service as superintendent of the wastewater treatment plant for the City of Washington. Later, he continued his career at NWSC Crane, where he served as a leader of the wastewater treatment plant until his retirement.
On May 19, 1990, Stevie married the love of his life, Christina Webster Cox. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion…
