Henderson Fire Department installs nearly 100 free smoke detectors in one day

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Henderson Fire Department partnered with the American Red Cross to install 98 free smoke detectors in the city’s East End.

According to HFD, it was a part of a single-day outreach effort to help make that end of the city safer.
