Kentucky man hospitalized after crashing into bridge and tree

FRUITLAND, Mo. (WEVV) — A Kentucky man was seriously injured after a vehicle he was in hit a bridge and a tree on Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened on May 6, at 2:15 a.m., along County Road 553, roughly 10 miles west of Fruitland.

State police said a 20-year-old man from Morganfield, Kentucky, was driving a 2024 Ford Mustang going south when the vehicle ran off the road, hit a bridge, went airborne and then crashed into a tree…
