HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Members with the Vanderburgh County Litter Patrol discovered something unusual while picking up trash.
According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, work release participants assisting with Litter Patrol recovered stolen lawn care equipment hidden in a ditch. Deputies say the stolen equipment, which included a Kobalt lawn mower, weed wacker and leaf blower, will soon be returned to its owner.
The equipment was reported stolen on April 21, and was found about 4.5 miles away.
