EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – First responders were at the scene of an accident with injuries involving an Evansville Police vehicle and another vehicle at Diamond Avenue and Stringtown Road in Evansville.
A call reporting the accident came in just before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. EPD Sergeant Anthony Aussieker tells Eyewitness News the accident happened at the intersection as an officer was on a “priority run” with lights and sirens on. The officer’s vehicle was traveling northbound and the other vehicle was traveling westbound.
The driver of the other vehicle reportedly had non-life-threatening injuries.
