EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The U.S. Postal Service and Tri-State Food Bank are teaming up to stamp out hunger.
The 34th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive takes place on Saturday. Residents can leave their donation of non-perishable food items in or next to their mailbox the morning of May 9.
Letter carriers will collect these food donations as they deliver mail along their postal routes. The Tri-State Food Bank will then distribute the items to local food pantries, shelters and other feeding programs…
