Police identify driver, two juveniles in reported hit-and-run incident

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Evansville Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run incident involving two juveniles who were reportedly taken from the scene by the driver of the vehicle involved.

According to police, officers were called at approximately 12:30 p.m. to the area of Fulton Avenue and Division Street after receiving reports that a juvenile had been struck by a vehicle. Authorities said the juvenile was hit by a dark-colored, possibly gray SUV.

Police said the SUV stopped after the collision, and a male driver exited the vehicle and placed the injured juvenile inside. A second juvenile who had been with the victim also entered the SUV. The vehicle then left the area traveling north on Fulton Avenue…
