VCSO: Evansville man faces multiple charges after burnout and reckless driving

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after deputies say he performed a burnout in front of a patrol car and drove recklessly through Evansville.

Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 23-year-old Kavoriante Outlaw on 11 preliminary charges, including operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, a deputy spotted Outlaw in a silver Chevy Malibu stopped at a red light at the intersection of US Hwy 41 and Virginia Street around 2 a.m. When the light changed, Outlaw allegedly accelerated at a high rate of speed, performing a burnout directly in front of the marked patrol vehicle…
