EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Board of Commissioners of Vanderburgh County has scheduled a special meeting for Tuesday, May 26, to discuss the long-term future of emergency medical services within the county.
The meeting will take place in Room 301 of the Civic Center Complex following the conclusion of the 9:30 a.m. Board of Commissioners and Drainage Board meetings. The session is part of an ongoing evaluation of the county’s emergency medical infrastructure as the current contract with American Medical Response is set to expire on Dec. 31, 2026.
