MT. VERNON, Ind. — A Mount Vernon woman and former county employee was sentenced to prison Wednesday morning for stealing more than $25,000 from the Posey County Solid Waste District.
46-year-old Jennifer L. Tinsley appeared in Posey Circuit Court where she was sentenced to two years in the Indiana Department of Correction. Under the terms of the sentence, Tinsley will serve the first six months in prison, with the remaining balance served through Posey County Community Corrections.
