EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Thursday, city leaders, along with officials from the Evansville Fire Department, and IAFF Local 357, gathered to do a formal signing of the new EFD-based emergency medical services.
There are already 47 full-time members of the team. Officials say the contract signing helps guarantee job security and pay for the incoming EMTs and paramedics.
