HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A man is accused of fleeing police on an ATV and on foot.
According to the Central City Police Department, an officer was on patrol in the area of Highway 62 East and Everly Brothers Boulevard on May 16 when he found an ATV traveling on the roadway. Police say the officer attempted a traffic stop, but the ATV failed to stop and continued onto south 5th Street before disregarding a stop sign while turning onto Harrison Avenue.
Officials say the ATV went onto a gravel lot and the driver began throwing gravel toward the patrol vehicle, before continuing onto south 7th Street and into several residential yards near Harrison Avenue. The driver of the ATV then fled on foot after he wrecked the vehicle between two trees…
