Fayetteville’s convenience store boom continues as more locations planned

The boom of larger convenience stores with expanded food and retail offerings continues in Fayetteville, with plans submitted to the city for more 7-Eleven and Wawa locations here.

According to the National Association of Convenience Stores, convenience industry sales, including in-store and fuel sales, topped $817.5 billion nationwide in 2025.
