LICKING COUNTY, OH (WTRF) – On June 19, 2026, detectives with the Licking County Sheriff’s Office began investigating allegations that a 7-year-old child had been sexually assaulted.
Detectives traveled to Cumberland County, North Carolina as a result of the investigation.
On June 23, 2026, officers arrested 26-year-old Charles Hatton on a charge of rape.
Following the arrest, detectives transported Hatton back to Licking County, Ohio…
