PEMBROKE — An arrest was made Friday in connection with the homicide of Jaleel Sinclair, which occurred in the early morning hours of July 4 in Pembroke during the Lumbee Homecoming celebration, the Pembroke Police Department announced.
Dakota Oxendine, of Hoke County, was arrested at approximately 2 p.m. Friday in connection with the case.
“Investigators have worked diligently to gather evidence, follow leads, and identify the individual believed to be responsible for Mr. Sinclair’s death,” Pembroke Police said in a press release. “This arrest represents a significant development in the ongoing investigation.”…
