Mac Edwards, VP and Market Manager of Beasley Media Group’s Charlotte cluster, will depart his role on September 4. Edwards first joined Beasley in 1991 as a talent and PD at WKML in Lumberton, NC. Five years later, he ascended to GM at WFLB and WAZZ-AM.
In 2001, he stepped up to a VP and Programming & Operations role before he was appointed VP and Market Manager of the Fayetteville, NC cluster in 2007.
Edwards left NC in 2016 to lead the company’s newly acquired Detroit cluster, which included WRIF, WCSX, and WMGC, later adding WDMK and Detroit Praise Network to the company’s Michigan portfolio.
