A North Carolina man allegedly shot his girlfriend and stole her car before he opened fire on women at a Hardee’s and a grocery store while trying — unsuccessfully — to steal their cars.
Robert Page, 52, faces a slew of charges including three counts each of first-degree attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill along with one count of robbery and larceny of a motor vehicle.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the alleged crime spree began around 7 a.m. Sunday when officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Messenger Street in Fayetteville.
