PAWLEY’S ISLAND, S.C. – Miah Rivas won the individual title and Campbell finished as runner-up in the team standings following Tuesday’s final round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf & Beach Club.
In her first collegiate event, the freshman from Morelia, Mexico finished a 3-under-par (68-73-69—210) on the par-71 Mike Strantz layout, to claim a one-shot victory over UNCW teammates Valencia Chang and Alexis Faieta.
Fanni Gronlund (67-75-72—214) and Jade Potter (72-70-72—214) tied for fifth at one-over par, while Yukino Kudo (71-76-74—221) tied for 43rd and Louisa Bloomfield finished T77 (77-74-77—228) in the 120-golfer field…
