Active Tuberculosis Case Sparks Investigation at Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville

The Cumberland County Department of Public Health launched a probe into a confirmed tuberculosis case at Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville. Officials received word about the infection on Friday, Sept. 11.

Over 260 individuals were flagged as potential close contacts. Every one of these people has heard from a public health nurse or someone at Cumberland County Schools, per a press release.
