Thirsty Gamers Cafe celebrated its grand opening at 103 Person St. on Saturday, Sept. 19, unveiling its fall menu and offering special giveaways.
Thirsty Gamers Cafe is a new board game cafe owned by the family behind The Sweet Palette, which operates in the space next door.
“There are few things I love more than coffee and community, so being a part of Thirsty Gamers Cafe, an intersection of both of those things, is a great honor and a deep joy. Watching people unplug and connect over a board game, while enjoying a beverage or a pastry (made in the bakery next door!), makes me happier than I can say in a few sentences,” shared Manager Matthew Jackson. “The feeling of witnessing folks enjoy a quality product and unique service, seeing them slow down and really be WITH their friends and neighbors – that feeling is unmatched.
