The City of Fayetteville honored three public safety workers for their 2025 efforts. They are Police Officer of the Year Joseph M. Bergamine, Firefighter of the Year Jeffrey Horne, and Telecommunicator of the Year Donna Godwin, according to a release from the City of Fayetteville.
On Wednesday, Oct. 28, the city posted profiles of all three. Each person answered questions about what pulled them toward public safety, what surprises people about the work, and where they go to recharge.
