Havoc complete weekend sweep of league-leading Fayetteville Marksmen

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Havoc used big first and third periods to pick up a huge 6-4 win over the Fayetteville Marksmen, who came into the weekend leading the SPHL.

The Havoc got off to a quick start, scoring three goals and led 3-1 after one. The Marksmen scored three in the middle frame to take the lead, but then the Havoc scored three more in the third to take the win. Paired with Friday’s comeback, overtime win, the Havoc pick up the weekend sweep.

David Thomson scored twice while Buster Larsson, Dominick Procopio, Dylan Stewart and Cole Reginato each scored once. The Havoc will open February with a two game series at Quad City on Feb. 2 and 3.
