Three arrested, two in Duplin County, for murder of man

BEULAVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Three people, two in Duplin County, have been arrested and charged in the murder of a Dunn man.

The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office assisted the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Criminal Apprehension Team and Dunn Police Department in the capture and arrest of Thad Tiee Adams and Kerrie Leigh Norris. Both were captured at a home on NC Hwy. 111 outside Beulaville.

The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office reported on its Facebook page they were arrested for the murder of Brandon Giles, which happened on January 29 at 709 North Ellis Ave. in Dunn. Friday morning, members of the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office, NC SBI and the Beulaville Police Department made the arrests. A third suspect was captured outside of Duplin County.
