Local Drug Investigation Leads to Three Arrests in Fayetteville

Three individuals have been arrested by the Fayetteville Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit following a drug investigation. The arrests took place at a residence on Enoch Avenue in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on January 30, 2024. The operation involved the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) and Gang Unit.

The arrested individuals are Omarion Mailk Allen and Staryante Davine Butler, both 21, and Kareem Lamar Haley, 41. Allen was wanted for First Degree Murder, Butler had active warrants in Hoke County, and Haley faced multiple charges, including illegal firearm possession and drug trafficking.

The investigation led to a search warrant, resulting in the confiscation of various drugs and a modified Glock 19. Haley is currently detained at the Cumberland County Detention Center with a $125,000 secure bond.

Allen was not granted bond due to his First Degree Murder charge, while Butler received a $1,500 unsecure bond. The Fayetteville Police Department urges the public to report any suspicious activity in their community to Crime Stoppers.
