When does the new Sheetz in Hope Mills open?

HOPE MILLS — A Pennsylvania-based convenience store with locations open around the clock is set to open a third Cumberland County store this week.

Sheetz will open its first Hope Mills location at 310 Chickenfoot Road at 9 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release.

Starting at 9 a.m. Friday, the gas station and convenience store will hold grand opening festivities, including giveaways like free Sheetz for a year, up to $2,500.

The new 6,689-square-foot store location has fuel pumps, a car wash, touchscreen ordering terminals and made-to-order sandwiches, breakfast and coffee.

The first local Sheetz opened in September 2020 on Ramsey Street across the street from Methodist University in Fayetteville, and a second store came to the city’s Seventy-First area at Bunce and Raeford roads in August 2022.
