A North Carolina man was arrested last week in Wauchula after reportedly trying to sell a boom lift stolen from a Home Depot in Jacksonville. Donta Charles Johnson, 30, of Parkton, N.C., was booked into the Hardee County Jail at 4:38 p.m. on charges of resisting arrest without violence, organized dealing in stolen property, and driving while license suspended.
