Hi foodies,

Anchor Allie’s restaurant and bar opened earlier this summer at 1204 Bragg Blvd., and the patriotic-themed restaurant opens a new speakeasy-style hangout in the same building at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, owner Allie Stephens said.

Siren’s by Allie lounge has a vibe and menu distinct from the main restaurant, Stephens said this morning.

“It’s an alter ego, named for the mermaid sirens that would lure sailors into the water,” she explained.

With a “feminine and sexy” atmosphere for guests ages 21 and older, Stephens said, the lounge is a perfect spot for girls night, date night or to dress up and have a solo glass of wine at the bar. The decor, menu and dress to impress dress code brings an element of elegance to Fayetteville’s nightlife, she said.

“I want women to come in here and wear a cocktail dress that’s been in their closet forever because they haven’t had a chance to go to Raleigh or Charlotte,” Stephens said.

The 40-seat lounge serves more than a dozen exclusive cocktails made from original recipes. For example, Siren’s Blue Pain Killer is an elixir of Bombu rum, Rumchata, blue curacao, pineapple juice and nutmeg.
