Cumberland County Schools announces inclement weather delay for Tuesday

Cumberland County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday for students and school-based staff, the school district announced Monday evening.

Buses will run two hours later and schools will start two hours later than normal because of inclement weather, according to a news release and a Cumberland County Schools Facebook post.

Morning Prime Time is canceled, but afternoon Prime Time will be on a normal schedule. Breakfast won’t be served Tuesday.

Central Services employees and 12-month employees should report to work at their normal time as long as it’s safe to do so.

School officials will notify families in the event some roads aren’t passable by buses and bus transportation is unavailable.
