Cumberland murder suspect served with unrelated charge of disclosing private images

A 20-year-old man, arrested on a murder charge Monday in a June homicide, was served Tuesday with an unrelated arrest warrant accusing him of unlawfully posting a video of a woman in the shower.

Malik Lamont Jenkins-Leavell, 20, was additionally booked on a felony charge of disclosing private images of an adult. He was already being held in the Cumberland County jail on first-degree murder and robbery charges in the death of Lamarvion Tremayne Leviticus McKinnon , 21.

According to court records for the newest charge, Jenkins-Leavell allegedly posted the video of the nude woman on Oct. 17. The record states that the victim’s mother contacted law enforcement. The latest charge appears to be unrelated to the killing.
