The Chick-fil-A in the food court at Fayetteville’s Cross Creek Mall, a staple in the community for decades, posted a sign informing patrons that it closed.
The fast-food restaurant, known for its signature chicken sandwiches, has been a popular destination for both mall shoppers and local residents for decades. While the reason for the closure has not been publically announced, a sign posted to the wall of its food court booth informed patrons of the news.
“Chick-fil-A Cross Creek Mall officially closed its doors on Sept. 30, 2024. It has been our pleasure to serve each and every Guest at this restaurant since 1975, and we look forward to continuing to serve the Fayetteville community at our nearby locations,” a statement from Chick-fil-A Inc. said Tuesday. The reason for the closure was not addressed.
