Hello my luvs! I had the best time at last year’s Indigo Moon Film Festival in downtown Fayetteville, where the atmosphere was vibrant and buzzing with excitement. This year promises to be just as amazing, if not more. Last year, I caught “Black Barbie,” a powerful film that resonated so deeply with audiences that Netflix and Shonda Rhimes picked it up. It was a poignant experience where I laughed, cried, and felt incredibly proud as a Black woman. Seeing such strong representation was truly inspiring and reaffirmed the importance of diverse voices in film.
