Search for missing Cumberland County woman leads to drug bust in Hope Mills, deputies say

HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WNCN) – A search for a missing woman led to a drug bust in Cumberland County on Thursday, deputies said. According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, its special investigations unit with the assistance of the special response team and the K-9 unit executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on the 2700 block of Blossom Road in Hope Mills. The special investigations unit was also searching for a woman who had been reported missing out of Cumberland County.
