Harnett County Schools Board of Education Vice Chairman Joey Powell was reelected to his second term on the school board Tuesday night. Powell beat his Democratic challenger Rose Ferguson in the race with 8,650 votes (65.76% of the ballots cast) compared to Ferguson’s 4,504 votes (34.24%).
