Murder warrant issued for suspect in DoorDash driver’s slaying at Fayetteville McDonald’s

A murder warrant has been issued for the man police say shot and killed a food delivery driver at a Santa Fe Drive McDonald’s on Thursday.

Kevin J. Holland is being sought on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Samori Husamudeen, 25, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

A news release said Husamudeen was shot about 8:15 p.m. at the restaurant at 5009 Santa Fe Drive near the corner of Yadkin Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials didn’t say if the shooting happened inside the restaurant or elsewhere on the property. Records indicate Husamudeen delivered food for DoorDash.
