A somber inquiry begins as Fayetteville police investigate the homicide of a woman found deceased in an apartment complex. According to a CBS 17 report, the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a missing person alert yesterday morning, at the Lake in the Pines Apartments located within the 900 block of Tamarack Drive. Upon their arrival shortly after 8:40 a.m., the officers’ initial missing person case took a grim turn when they discovered a woman suffering from what were described as fatal injuries.
