Temporary housing units arrive in mountains under Gov. Stein’s emergency order

NORTH CAROLINA (WLOS) — Some of the 1,000 temporary homes, part of Governor Josh Stein’s executive order, have arrived in mountain communities.

According to the governor’s office, families have been assigned to mobile units in Old Fort, Sugar Grove, West Jefferson and Canton.
