For some time now, North Carolina State University Extension peanut specialist David Jordan has expressed concern that imidacloprid is losing its effectiveness when it comes to controlling thrips in peanuts.
Jordan said the effectiveness of imidacloprid (Admire Pro and generic products) has dropped off in N.C. State’s research plots, so he wanted to find out if the same was happening on farms as well.
