NC man wanted for allegedly killing girlfriend in Lumberton shooting

LUMBERTON, S.C. (WMBF) – North Carolina authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection to a fatal Lumberton shooting on Thursday.

The Lumberton Police Department said they have secured a warrant for first-degree murder against 24-year-old Deshawn James Armfield of Fayetteville, who was identified as the victim’s boyfriend.

Police say that at 10:21 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the Ramada Inn on Roberts Avenue.

LPD says they found 20-year-old Alaysha Odom, of Red Springs, suffering from gunshot wounds…
