Onslow County, NC — The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating an incident involving a report of a BB gun at White Oak High School that occurred early Friday morning.
According to authorities, one student was checked out of school before deputies arrived. Deputies questioned a group of students about the incident and later visited the home of the student suspected of bringing the BB gun to campus. However, the student was reportedly uncooperative during questioning.
