A Moore County man wanted on multiple counts of felony animal cruelty was arrested Saturday, July 12, in Southern Pines, according to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
Rodney Morrison, previously sought in connection with a case reportedly involving dead, abused, and emaciated dogs in Pinebluff, was taken before a magistrate following his arrest and committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Aug. 6.
