Following the launch of the same program at the Jacksonville, N.C. campus, Miller-Motte College (MMC) has announced the launch of its plumbing program in Fayetteville, N.C. Enrollment is currently open, and classes start on Aug. 4, 2025.
During the program, students will receive exposure to skills including correctly measuring, cutting and connecting plastic, copper and steel piping using the correct adhesive, brazing rod or solder. They will actively use tools for the plumbing trade; repair or install valves used for water, natural gas or petroleum gas; and locate building sewers, drains and fixtures. The plumbing program is designed to give students hands-on training to prepare them for a successful career in the plumbing industry. Classes combine theory with practical application, providing a safe environment for students to get practice with specialty tools and equipment that they will encounter in their future plumbing career.
“We are thrilled about the introduction of the Plumbing program, which is an excellent add-on to our already popular skilled trades programs,” said President of MMC Fayetteville Dr. Janell Geddis. “This offering will equip our students with the hands-on skills and knowledge to excel in the plumbing industry.”…
