BENSON – A Johnston County man with a lengthy history of arrests is once again behind bars.
Bradford Christian Calcote, of Byrdtown Road, Benson, was arrested July 18 during a search of his residence by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and NC Probation & Parole.
During the search, 34 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 3 grams of cocaine, 0.1 gram of fentanyl, 1.2 pounds of marijuana, 9 Adderall pills, two jars of moonshine, and a large quantity of ammunition were seized.
In 2010, Calcote was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for cooking methamphetamine. Calcote also sold methamphetamine to an undercover officer in June 2008 during a controlled buy. Materials used in the production of meth were seized during a search warrant at his residence the following day…
