BUIES CREEK – Campbell wrestling had 17 student-athletes make the 2025 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll and three student-athletes earned Academic All-SoCon honors, the conference announced Wednesday.
The team’s efforts contributed to an all-time single year departmental GPA mark set during the 2024-25 academic year, as the Fighting Camels posted a 3.261 GPA across all 21 NCAA Division I varsity sports. The department also saw another single semester departmental record, recording a 3.301 GPA for the spring 2025 term. Of its 21 sports, 20 reported cumulative team GPAs of 3.0 or better for the semester.
