A Cameron crash Friday evening resulted in one driver in jail on suspicion of impaired driving after rear-ending another driver. The two-vehicle crash happened on U.S. Highway 1 just south of N.C. 24-27 around 7 p.m.
According to authorities on scene, a Dodge Charger was traveling south on U.S. Highway 1 behind a Chrysler passenger car when the Chrysler began to slow down. The driver of the Dodge failed to slow down and rear-ended the Chrysler.
A female passenger in the Chrysler was transported to Moore Regional Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chrysler was not injured and was able to drive the car to the hospital to meet the passenger there…
