Fort Bragg is scheduled to close the entire length of Manchester Road (from Morganton Road to Lamont Road) beginning Sept. 8 for complete repaving. This closure is expected to last about 45 days. After completion of the repaving, which includes a process called full depth reclamation that rehabilitates the entire roadbed, the driving surface will be wider, smoother and safer for drivers.
Fort Bragg is partnered with the North Carolina Department of Transportation through an Intergovernmental Service Agreement to improve road conditions on post.
