Life has come full circle for Tyresha Campbell, BSN, RN. Twenty-nine years after being born at Central Carolina Hospital, she returned last week for her first job as a nurse to help deliver babies at the hospital’s Birth Center.
“It feels great,” Tyresha said of her return to her birthplace as her workplace in a press release. “Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a nurse, but I would have never thought I’d be working at the same hospital I was born in. So now, looking back on it, it’s something to tell other people: that great things do happen here, but great people also come from here.”
“I believe in following wherever God leads me,” she said. “Right now, he’s placed me here, and I know it’s exactly where I’m meant to be – especially since I was born in this very hospital. It feels like a beautiful moment, bringing me back to where my story began.”…
