Two Suspects Charged After Alleged Shooting at NC State Trooper Near Fayetteville

Two individuals, Jumar Moore and Mahkia Williamson, face severe charges after their alleged involvement in a shooting targeting a North Carolina state trooper during a traffic stop. According to ABC11, the incident occurred on I-295 near Fayetteville when a trooper attempted to stop a speeding vehicle, leading to shots being fired from the vehicle at the officer.

The trooper’s vehicle sustained damage from the gunfire, including a disabled tire hindering further pursuit; the suspects were alleged to have fled the scene, later authorities identified them and made the arrests on Wednesday.
