Man hit by car on busy Fayetteville road was stabbed before deadly crash, police say

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is facing a murder charge in connection with a deadly pedestrian crash in Fayetteville Monday afternoon after police said they determined the pedestrian was stabbed before being hit by a car.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers responded around noon to Bragg Boulevard near the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway and found a man who had been hit by passing motorist.
