Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With School Bus in Fayetteville, North Carolina

FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA – A motorcyclist was killed Friday morning in a collision with a Cumberland County Schools bus, Fayetteville police confirmed.

Crash on Bragg Boulevard

The crash happened around 7:40 a.m. near the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and Andy Street.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, the school bus was traveling south on Bragg Boulevard and attempted to head north by entering a designated U-turn area. While turning, the bus was struck on the side by a motorcycle traveling north.

Victim Identified

Police identified the motorcyclist as 33-year-old Antonio Topp of Fayetteville. He died at the scene from his injuries.

Authorities confirmed that two students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Neither they nor the bus driver were injured.

Investigation Underway

Fayetteville police said speed may have been a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing, and as of Friday afternoon, no charges had been filed…
